ATCO has been working around the clock to restore electricity and natural gas service to the community and we are here to help as you return home.
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo provided a Fire Assessment Tool to determine if residents can return to their homes. Fire damage to some of ATCO’s infrastructure means that regular natural gas service and electricity to some customers in the region cannot be resumed at this time.
Please consider delaying re-entry until utility service has been restored. Our plans to respond and restore services are aligned with the province's schedule for re-entry.
Before residents decide to return to the community, it’s critical they go through the following steps:
Please check the ATCO Utility Restoration Map to see if there is electricity and natural gas service in your neighbourhood. Check back often as the map is updated daily.
